LUNAR (the Lamar UNiversity Association of Rocketry) is one of Lamar University's largest engineering student organizations. At LUNAR, we apply our STEM knowledge to the design, construction, and launch of high-powered rockets for national collegiate competitions.

Our team participates in competitions such as NASA's University Student Launch Initiative (USLI). These competitions push to learn, innovate, collaborate as teams, and achieve new technical milestones.

• Hands-on experience in rocket design and manufacturing
• Collaboration across engineering and academic disciplines
• Numerous opportunities for leadership and professional growth

Through competing, LUNAR powers students to apply their education to real-world scenarios and take further steps towards becoming future engineers and innovators.
